Doctrinal Statement

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, giving a true history of the creation of heaven, earth, humanity and containing a correct prophecy of the ages to come regarding heaven, earth, and the destiny of humanity ( 2 Peter 2:20-21).

The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21).

We believe that there is only one God, who exists as three eternal persons: Father, Son and the Holy Ghost. The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, is the same in nature, essence, and substance (Genesis 1:26; John 16:13-15; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

We believe that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God (Romans 1:3-4). We believe Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world, and in that act, purchased our redemption and finished the atonement and all that was required for our salvation (John 19:30). After being crucified for our sins, Jesus rose from the dead in a glorified, supernatural body and now sits on the right-hand of God making intercession for us (John 2:19-20; I Corinthians 15:4; Romans 1:9, 8:34).

Baptism of the Holy Ghost

We believe that the baptism in the Holy Ghost, according to the word of God is given to the believer which ask for it.

Water Baptism

We believe in repentance of our sins, baptism in name of the Lord Jesus for the remission of our sins, that we may receive from God the gift of the Holy Ghost (Act 2:37-38, 19:5). We are required to live Holy (II Corinthians 7:1) and to follow the example of Jesus Christ (I Peter 2:13-25).

Statement on Marriage and Sexuality
We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning and that is marriage sanctioned by God which joins one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to only occur between a man and a woman who are married to each other. We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between one man and one woman.

We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ.

We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with scripture nor the doctrines of the church. (Genesis 1:27; 19:1-25; Leviticus 2:13; Romans 1:26-27; I Corinthians 6:9-11)
